My Grand Parents Henry & Hilda Rozee and their Daughters Joan and Doreen
Henry known as Harry Thomas Rozee
4/4/1904 - 27/2/1962
My Grampy Rozee was a great man, he was born in the East End of London, his family were originally silk weavers from France, who came to live in England.
My Gramp was a Happy Man who always wore a flat cap and had a roll up stuck behind his ear, and often times they were still alight at that, he loved animals and children, however he wasnt opposed to putting my Mums or her brothers pets on the dinner table if there was nothing else for them to eat.
He and my Granny Rozee moved to Swindon after the 2nd world war ended and my Grampy took a job in the railways in the foundry, I can still see him in my mind walking along the backsies at dinner time with his flat cap roll up and the paper under his arm, he was a great Man and respected by all who knew him, he used to race pigeons as a hobby and I still have one of the cups he won back in 1956, which I treasure.
My Gramp sent me off to bed one Sunday night saying "go on off you go up the wooden hill" the last memory I have is of him standing by the fire place saying good night.
When I woke up the next morning my Grampy was in the Hospital he had been rushed in during the night, he never came home again he died that day. I was 9 years old at the time.
However I still remember my Grampy Rozee, and what a gentle kind and loving Man he was, he was truly one of the best.

Hilda Winifred Rozee nee Clarke 20/4/1910 - 5/10/1980
My Granny Rozee was a tiny woman 4ft 10inches tall but boy she was packed full of dynamite, she would grab me by my ear and march me home if she ever caught me out some place where I shouldnt have been, which she did often, too often.
I used to think she was so mean when I was a child, however as I grew up and matured into a woman my Granny and I became really close and good friends, she always told me she had to reach her 3 score years and ten, ( 70 ) which she did the April of the year she died.
Its true what they say you dont know how much a person really means to you until theyre no longer here,I discovered this fact when I lost my Granny.
I often think of my Granny and wish she were still here, its only now that I realise just how vital a role she had played in my life and I miss her dreadfully, even though shes been gone for some 30 years now.
Rest In Peace Granny and Grampy Rozee,
together again for eternity now.

Death is nothing at all...
I have only slipped away into the next room
I am I and you are you...
Whatever we were to each other
That we are still
Call me by my old familiar name
Speak to me in the easy way you always used
Put no difference into your tone
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed
At the little jokes we always enjoyed together
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me
Let my name be ever the household
word that it always was
Let it be spoken without effort
Without the shadow of a ghost on it
Life means all that it ever meant
It is the same as it ever was
There is absolutely unbroken continuity
What is death but a negligible accident?
Why should I be out of mind
Because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you for an interval
Somewhere very near
Just around the corner
All is well....
Nothing is past; nothing is lost
One brief moment and all will be as it was before
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!
